Now, after completion of exterior renovation of the Hallgrímskrikja church, Ístak has begun on an interior renovation project. A new emergency exit is to be constructed and new main entrance door, designed by the artist Leifur Breiðfjörð, installed. On the attached picture the statue of Christ is positioned directly in front of the planned emergency exit.

Istak’s site manager is Tómas Tómasson, and foreman is Guðmann Ingjaldsson.
The client’s representative is Indriði Níelsson, employee of Verkís engineering firm.
